Lord, Show Me Mercy

“Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.” — Psalm 51:1

Prayer:

Father, in the name of Jesus, I come before You asking for mercy. Let Your lovingkindness speak louder than my mistakes, and let the multitude of Your tender mercies blot out every transgression. Wash me thoroughly, cleanse my heart, and renew a right spirit within me.

Lord, where I have fallen short—by words, thoughts, or actions—show me mercy and restore me. Give me grace to hate sin and to walk in obedience. Let every accusation against me be silenced by the blood of Jesus, and let my life be a testimony of Your forgiveness and power.

Have mercy on my family, my work, and everything that concerns me. Turn away every judgement I deserve, and replace it with Your favour. Open doors that only mercy can open, heal what is broken, and strengthen me where I am weak.

Today, let Your compassion locate me. Direct my steps, keep me from evil, and surround me with Your peace. Fill me with joy again, and help me to live clean, humble, and grateful before You. Thank You, Father, because You are merciful and faithful forever, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
