WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR CHRISTIANS WHO ARE LIVING IN FEAR?
Fear is an emotion experienced in anticipation of some specific pain or danger. It is usually characterised by the urge to flee.
This in itself is inborne human insticts. However, fear can also imprison and incapacitate an individual who is subject to it’s hold. This fear is a spirit and is of the devil. Fear is mentioned 365 times in the Bible. This unarguably reveals that God is aware of the negative effect it has on man, and therefore, expresses time and time again, that we should fear not. Isaiah 41:10, 13. Love cannot exist with fear. They are I opposite poles because with love comes trust, faith and Joy. In fear is darkness, uncertainty and faithlessness. 1 John 4:18.
No one can live in Christ and be in unbelief. Psalm 56:3.
Believe God that all His Words and promises to us are true. For with belief comes faith, and faith cancels all fear.
As a Christian, we should always study the Word and ask the Holy spirit to help us. Only in this can we overcome fear.
Fear is a thief. A thief cometh but to steal, kill and destroy. Fear takes away your joy, peace, healing, deliverance, it robs you of every good thing of the Lord for you. God knows how destructive fear is., That is why He did not give us the spirit of fear instead He gave us power. and love and a sound mind 2nd Timothy 1: 7, so as a Christian, you should put fear behind you because is not of God .
Only prayers can help the fear .
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” The Good News: God will give you strength when you are afraid. Sometimes it very difficult to make then pray coz they are not in our world but we can help them by praying with them . Or for then Amen
