Paul encourages engaged men to marry under the right conditions. if the engaged man thinks breaking off the engagement will be dishonourable toward his fiancée/betrothed, he can go ahead and marry her.

Also, if the engaged man thinks he is unable to control his passions and may have carnal knowledge of his fiancée, let him marry her in order not to commit fornication. it is not a sin to marry.

Genesis 2:24 – Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

Proverbs 18:22 – He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord.

Hebrews 13:4 – Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.

1 Cor. 7:36? My understanding of this verse of scripture is; If any man thinks his behaviour to his virgin ( fiancee) is improper and his virgin is matured enough for marriage, he should no hesitate to marry her, instead of ‘burning’ with passion. It is not a sin against him if marries her as he wishes. Gen 2:24

I believe what the Scripture meant here is,
If one feel he or she can no longer bear d pressure of single hood in a relationship ( courtship) or popularly known as dating, instead of engaging in canal knowledge, let him pay d dowry to make d relationship legal.
So whatever happens thereafter is not sin. because Heb.13 vs 4, says marriage is honourable and bed undefiled.

Mummy , I believe the Apostle Paul is speaking of a man having trouble keeping his Virginity with his betrothed. Therefore, Paul’s instructions that he had given earlier in the same chapter 1cor 7v8-9) would apply” let them marry “, it could also having power over his own will’ is a strange phrase to apply to a father, as if he was going to be giving into intense pressure from a proposed son-in-law.on the other hand,it fits perfectly with engaged men who will often have intense desire to marry
