1 John 4:16 — “God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.”
Teaching for the Week
The love of God is not a feeling that changes — it is God’s nature and His steady covenant toward us. This week, let your heart rest in the truth that you are not kept by your strength but by His love. When you’re tempted to doubt, remember: His love is proven in Christ, His presence is promised, and His compassion is new every morning.
So don’t just know God loves you — dwell in that love. Let it heal you, correct you, calm you, and shape how you speak, work, and respond. The love you receive from God is the love you carry into your week.
Prayer Points
- Father, thank You for loving me with an everlasting love, even when I fall short.
- Let the reality of Your love silence every voice of fear, rejection, and condemnation this week.
- Lord, teach me to dwell in Your love daily — not in anxiety, pressure, or striving.
- Heal every wound in my heart caused by disappointment, betrayal, or loss, by Your love.
- Help me to forgive quickly and love sincerely, just as You have loved me.
- Let Your love guard my mind and control my words, reactions, and decisions this week.
- Father, open doors for me this week, and let Your favour speak for me where I cannot speak for myself.
- Let my home and relationships be filled with Your peace, unity, and understanding.
- Keep me from sin, temptation, and distractions — let Your love draw me closer to You.
- Use me as a vessel: let someone encounter Your love through me this week, in Jesus’ name.
Closing Prayer:
Lord, let Your love be my covering and my confidence this week.
Keep me near Your heart, and let my life reflect You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Amen!
